Specialty Glass Projects we handle
Hundreds of types of decorative glass are available. Decorative glass can be used for any glass application, windows, cabinets, showcases, glass walls, partitions . . . etc. At Allnite Glass, we can get our hands on just about any pattern or color of glass. Often times we can match your existing pattern.
Frosted glass is typically not frosted with paint. The frosty texture is applied through a method of modifying the glass surface with a chemical. The end product is known as acid etch glass which has that nice, frosty tint.
Many levels of fire rated glass exist. Some of it is produced to satisfy safety codes in public buildings. Others is produced for fire places or kilns. It is typically fairly pricey, but if you need a piece, we would be happy to help you out.
Bullet proof glass is most commonly seen in transaction windows or pharmacy drive through windows. Most of it is often over an inch thick, but there are several different types of bullet proof glass. The first is laminate glass. Laminate glass is a safety glass, but when stack up to over an inch thick, it becomes bullet resistant. The second is poly-carbonate plastic. Poly-carbonate is known for its durability. We can supply either of the two.
All three names listed above describe smart glass. It is a type of glass that is wired to a power source. When the power source is turned on and the electricity flows into the glass, the glass tints. Smart glass is useful for bathrooms, bedrooms, and conference rooms.
